PEACE School is a registered charitable, not for profit organization. At PEACE, we inspire and challenge children to discover the magic of life, while learning to shape a better world for all humanity.
The PEACE community — comprised of students, parents, family, friends, volunteers, faculty and staff — is vibrant and creative. Standards of excellence and the fullness of the PEACE experience is available to a culturally diverse group of students. Annual giving is essential to ensure that PEACE’s collaborative culture flourishes — updating classroom resources and technology, expanding co-curricular options and encouraging harmony and excellence among the student body. Your participation in the Annual Gift Campaign will inspire and influence others to give and contribute to growth and enhancements in our schools that are only possible with your support. Your gift to the Annual Gift Campaign may be directed to a student endowment and bursary fund, development of school facilities, or any area of your choice. There are many ways to make a gift to PEACE. Gifts to the school may be made as a one-time gift or pledged over years. In addition, we encourage our donors to consider installment schedules that may allow them to make larger gifts over time. Gifts may be made monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or on a specific schedule identified by the donor. Click below to download the PEACE Support brochure.
Ways to Donate…
Gifts of cash go to work right away to meet the fund-raising priorities of the school and our students. Gifts may be made by cheque or through PayPal. Please make cheques payable to “Paradigm Education Academy of Creative Enlightenment” and forwarded to: PEACE School, P.O. Box 146, Callander, ON, Canada P0H 1H0.
By Mail – You may also mail a cheque or your credit card number to PEACE at the address listed above. Please include the expiry date, your name and current mailing address.
Donate online – The quickest and easiest way to make a donation to PEACE is through PayPal’s online donation form.
By Phone – You may call PEACE directly and give your credit card number over the phone. Please call (705) 752-4785 and request to make a donation.
Special gifts-in-kind may be considered on an individual basis, the gift must provide values to one of the School’s programs. For gifts of value more than $1,000 an independent third-party appraisal must be provided from a qualified professional.
The Commemorative Gifts Program at PEACE provides organizations, parents and friends an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the achievements of family, friends, our faculty and staff.
With lasting generosity, members may play an essential role in securing the future of PEACE and its students through the tradition of leaving a legacy to PEACE. We are pleased to recognize these individuals for their commitment to PEACE.
Double the power of your gift! Here’s how! Many companies will match your charitable gift as an employee, Board members, a spouse or retiree. Check with your companies Human Resources department to see if they match gifts, and obtain a matching gift form to mail in with your donation. Please encourage your employer to match your generosity. To find out if you are eligible, inquire at your company and send the forms to the PEACE office for completion.
The benefits of making a gift of securities were significantly enhanced through the May 2006 Federal Budget. Under the new taxation rules, gifts of appreciated securities are now exempt from the taxation of capital gains. Donors are not taxed on the capital gains accrued on securities such as public company shares, bonds, mutual fund units and employee stock options, when donated to a registered charity. Not only will donors receive a receipt for the full current value of their appreciated securities, but now they will be exempt form capital gains taxes on the amount of the appreciation. This can be a significant advantage over a direct donation of cash.
